Our Student Council Advisors took a trip to the College of New Jersey for the New Jersey Association of Student Council's Fall Business Meeting. We saw an incredible speaker, Keith Hawkins, who spoke about the importance of respect, values, and character, and becoming a true leader that people will follow. After the keynote speech, the students attended different conferences:
- NJASC's state charity, the Family Reach Foundation, which provides financial relief and heartfelt support to families fighting cancer
- RSVP, Raising Student Voice & Participation, within your school
The student advisors will be sharing their knowledge from the event with the other OCS Student Council members at our next school meeting.
